About the Speaker:
Sima Gandhi, Co Founder of Food Venture Accelerator
Sima is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship education, with extensive experience advancing knowledge across a wide range of subjects, including eLearning, food ventures, the Business Model Canvas, branding and marketing, copyright and trademarks, go-to-market strategies, pitch deck development, e-commerce, user experience, social media marketing, startups, and negotiation.
As the Senior Manager of Entrepreneurship Programs at MaRS Discovery District—Canada’s largest non-academic provider of entrepreneurship education—Sima played a key role in developing accessible, industry-agnostic content tailored to diverse audiences. In 2016, she was appointed Entrepreneur in Residence at the Toronto Reference Library, and she continues to mentor entrepreneurs and enterprises on innovative approaches to business growth.
Sima is also an inventor and holds a utility patent for Riince, a kitchen utensil created in response to evolving millennial eating habits. In 2019, she co-founded the Food Venture Accelerator, which delivers food industry-specific education in partnership with regional business development centers across Canada and the United States.
