NACCE, TASC, and Solve CC Shine at the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva
Harnessing AI for Humanity
The AI for Good Global Summit 2025 in Geneva convened more than 11,000 participants from 169 countries—with thousands more joining virtually—to explore how artificial intelligence can help solve the world’s most urgent challenges. From flying cars and brain-computer interfaces to deepfake detection and AI-powered food systems, the energy and innovation at the event were truly inspiring.
Among the global innovators were leaders from NACCE, Technology Advisory Strategic Council (TASC), and Solve CC, who brought a powerful message to the global stage: AI has the potential to uplift communities and expand economic mobility through education and entrepreneurship.
Collaborative Leadership, Global Impact
Thanks to the visionary leadership of Mojdeh Eskandari and Huy Nguyen, Co-Founders of Solve CC, and the steadfast support of NACCE, I had the privilege of co-creating a high-impact, three-hour workshop at the Summit. This initiative was enriched by the guidance and facilitation skills of:
- Dr. Amy Diaz, President of GateWay Community College (AZ) and NACCE Board member
- Dr. Jim Murdaugh, President of Tallahassee State College (FL) and NACCE Board member
- Dr. Angela Long, Chief Engagement Officer, Tallahassee State College (FL)
- Dr. Caron Sada, Faculty Director of Social Entrepreneurship, Paradise Valley Community College (AZ)
With the support of TASC, led by Kitrhona Cerri and Dr. Stephanie Camarena, a globally recognized AI futures design expert, we proudly represented the U.S. community college sector and helped facilitate a rich global dialogue on the future of education and work.
Empowering the Future of Learning and Work
NACCE’s workshop, titled "AI & the Future of Learning and Work: Building Local Prosperity Through Global Innovation," drew more than 350 participants from around the world. The session explored the future of learning and work in 2035.
After hearing from a panel of community college leaders with a futurist mindset, participants worked in breakout groups to explore three dynamic scenarios:
- The student-centered future
- The college facilities opportunity
- A European perspective on integrating AI in education
Using interactive tools like Mentimeter, each group recorded key insights and shared verbal takeaways, contributing to a collective vision for a more inclusive and innovative AI-powered future.
Global Dialogue, Local Solutions
This experience was focused on co-creating the future in a dynamic global environment that is powered by AI. Workshop outcomes are being compiled and will be shared through NACCE’s newly launched LinkedIn Community of Practice. This digital community is open to educators, industry leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers who share NACCE’s mission to uplift communities and expand opportunity through innovation.
Continuing the Conversation
Geneva was just the beginning. NACCE, TASC, and Solve CC are committed to continuing this work through:
- Shared convenings
- Collaborative pilot programs
- Ongoing thought leadership
Together, we’re building a movement to ensure that AI serves everyone, everywhere not just through technology, but through education, empowerment, and opportunity.
